Greetings Brothers and Sisters In Christ,

There are times in our lives when God calls us to move beyond the ordinary to pursue His extraordinary purpose and destiny four our lives. After much prayer and contemplation, "this is the Time", as I, The Rev. Dr. Myrtle Bowen, Offer myself as a candidate for the Episcopacy in the African Methodist Episcopal Zion Church. This is no trivial pursuit nor an exercise in lofty ideals, but it is with the utmost reverence and respect for this high office that I offer myself to the service of God, God's people and the church I love. I am offering myself as a humble servant leader and Candidate for Bishop 2020.

My desire to serve God and my Church, promises I cannot keep or plans I cannot foresee has left me with a very simple platform, which is to communicate to our beloved members in Zion as a sincere desire to always convey a Compassionate Message, a model for Consistent Ministry and to be Committed to the true Mission of the church - "To Make Disciples".
